Walkers in Mississippi
Note: to see any of these photos larger, just click on them. :)

From Heather: Dec 12-16:
This is our first ministry opportunity after we stepped foot in America. We went to one of our supporting churches, Church Arise in Decatur, MS. Our university friend, Tonette Kellet, was our connection there. Now we have many friends and are so blessed by being connected with these folks. This church is a picture of heaven, made up of Choctaw Native Americans, African Americans and Caucasians -HEAVEN! :) Our sweet, long-time friend had goodies waiting for us in our hotel room, American candy, drinks, chips - YUM!

Walkers are in the USA
Dear Friends and Family - Happy New Year! Well, we are here. We enjoyed Christmas with our family on Michael's side. We were able to meet our two new brother-in-laws. New Years was ushered in with family on Heather's side. We saw all the moms and dads, brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. It was GREAT. Heather was able to see her brother, whom she had not seen for 12 years!
We thank you all for your prayers and support. We have a pretty full schedule, but have had a few openings come available. Please let us know if you would like to have us and speak to your church, youth group or home group.
Our first Sunday back was spent in Decatur, MS - and what a BEAUTIFUL Sunday it was at Church Arise with Pastor Gabe and Amber - and our college friend, Tonette. We felt so loved by everyone. What a privilege it was to be with these folks who have a great heart for the Choctaw Indians in their area. We were able to speak at the Choctaw Tribal School on that Monday - and it was fabulous!
Please keep praying for us. Please pray for safety, protection and health as we travel. We have battled flu and colds. We are praying for snow - enough to build a snowman with our children (to be specific!) :) We love you all and so look forward to seeing you. Our cell number while in the USA is 404-819-9375.
If you are interested in us coming to our church and we don't already have a connection with your pastor or leadership - it best for you to feel out your pastor. Look forward to hearing from you.
Blessings,
Heather, Michael, Beracah, Judah, Josiah, and Charissma

Furlough
Good morning friends and family. Wanted to shoot a quick update. We leave for America on 6 December. So – we obviously have our airline tickets, but need to be able to finish paying for them. Please be praying for safe and trouble free trip.
We were given a beautiful African farewell last night at church and we felt so blessed and humbled.
Things have been very busy and I have struggled even getting this out, but told myself to refrain from needing to get much personal information so that you have our itinerary. We are almost totally booked for our furlough – and it is quite amazing. We could have NEVER orchestrated such a schedule – but with God all things are possible. Thank you so much for your prayers and your giving. Please keep praying for us there is much to wrap up before we get on. Our vehicle issues have continued and been very time consuming and costly – but God has protected our family. Let me get this off. Love you all very much!
